Will you go to prom with me? Info and tips from MYO blogger P.I.N.K. on having a wonderful prom or ring dance!
It’s May and the one thing on people’s mind is prom! For the last two weeks I have been bombarded with text messages from friends who are all asking me about prom. What should I wear? What if I don’t have a date? What should I do after the prom? Should I check my looks in the mirror during the night?
With so many options it’s enough to make anyone’s head spin! My simple answer is to just have fun by being yourself.
Prom is one of the biggest social events in high school besides graduation. You want to be remembered for who you are and not as the person you made yourself become in front of your friends! I believe prom is the night where romance can emerge from the shadows and where the not-so-seen people in high school can emerge by showing off their own uniqueness.
Don’t be afraid to dance if you came by yourself! Even if you think you can’t dance you can! Who gets to set the bar on who you are? You do! Don’t let your mind limit you because you are unique. It’s your time and let it show! #YOLO.
