Media Man’s Fall TV Line Up

Hey guys, it’s the Media Man with my first post here on MYOSpace. I’ve chosen 5 shows to watch this season, and here’s a little teaser for each one below. If you have any shows that you think I should be watching or comments on the shows I’m covering, feel free to comment!

Two and a Half Men- After Charlie’s (Sheen) death, Alan and Jake find themselves unable to pay for Charlie’s beachfront Malibu home. Alan then meets Walden Schmidt (Kutcher), an internet billionaire depressed with his recent divorce from his high school sweetheart. In the first episode, Schmidt has not moved into the house yet, but tune in on Monday’s at 9:00 to find out the rest!

Terra Nova- This new sci-fi show on Fox is set in 2149, where life on planet earth is close to exctincion. A group of citizens travel back to pre-historic times to reset their lives and save the human race. They soon find that their world is infested with carnivorous dinosaurs. Check out Terra Nova on Fox Monday’s at 8.

Person of Interest- This upcoming CBS show features Mr. Finch, a billionaire, who has come up with a computer program that can predict the identity of people that will be connected to future violent crimes. Although this program cannot predict when, where, or how a certain person will be involved in a crime, Finch enlists the help of John Reese, a thought to be dead former CIA agent, to stop the crimes from taking place. If this interests you, Person of Interest is on FOX on Thursdays at 9:00.

House- After running his car into his boss’s house and fleeing the country, we find Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) in jail about to be released. The first episode will focus on House’s last 5 days in prison, and explain many of the different questions that we had as season 7 ended. With the departure of Dr. Cuddy, (Lisa Edelstein) Princeton-Plainsborough Teaching Hospital will also be looking for a new Chief of Medicine. House season 8 premieres on October 3rd.

The Office- We left The Office with no boss and a bevy of possible candidates, including Warren Buffett, Ricky Gervais, and Jim Carrey. As season 8 begins, there is still no new boss of Dunder Mifflin Scranton, but Sabre does have a new CEO, Robert California (James Spader). Not only will we meet Mr. California for the first time, but we will also find out the new regional manager of Dunder Mifflin in the premiere of Season 8 of The Office, starting tonight, September 22nd on NBC.

Be sure to check out any of these shows that interest you, and again, feel free to recommend any shows you like to me!
